Slavic Roots foi um cd com músicas folclóricas ucranianas gravado em 2002 e lançado em 2003 com a Kiev studios (que bancou o projeto).
O fato de divulgar a música eslava fez deste álbum um dos mais vendidos do grupo além de manufaturamento em vários países ,inclusive nos EUA .

Na minha opinião é um excelente CD .O fato dele parecer 'perfeito' ,é que o ManSound pisou em sua área e como diz em minas : matou a pau .
Slavic Roots é um cd com músicas mais lentas e algumas até para reflexão ,porém agradáveis de ouvir .Além da participação de Oxana Bilozir tivemos na música 3 o uso de violão que ajudaram nos arranjos bem criativos de Vladimir . A minha nota é 10 apesar de não ser um cd para ouvir com os amigos rsrs.

As you're listening to the scat rising above the jazz waltz on opener "Triptych" you can easily forget this is a medley of Ukrainian folk songs… until the next song in the medley flows in seamlessly with the distinctive Slavic sound. Mansound is a male sextet with a very distinctive and contemporary vision of how to sing traditional music. The jazz and pop infusions make the songs fresh and new - and very enjoyable! - but they are ever so delicately melded with the traditional. The ensemble is tight, well blended, precisely in tune and capable of welling to intense emotional highs at a moment's notice. One of the seven tracks has a guitar (and a female guest soloist). The only thing you could ask of this CD is more, more, more!
